Adult Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Programs

Harbor Oaks Hospital offers Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs for adults ages 18 and older who suffer from mental health problems and/or substance abuse issues. Under the medical direction of a psychiatrist, each patient receives an individualized treatment plan, which is implemented by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals including psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, educational specialists and activity therapists.

Daily program provides a controlled and structured environment for patients having emotional and behavioral difficulties. Through individual, group, family and expressive therapies, patients learn healthy behaviors to cope with problems.

Family Involvement

At Harbor Oaks we recognize that family involvement is essential to recovery. Through the use of individual family sessions and involvement in groups, the family is educated on conflict resolution, effective communications, and parenting skills.
