At Harbor Oaks Hospital, we strive to provide services for as many people as can. Our vision is to be the preferred provider of behavioral healthcare services in Southeastern Michigan and beyond by offering care to each patient, who we treat as if he or she was a member of our own family. We believe that an integrated, holistic treatment program, in combination with appropriate social supports, can help individuals and their families recover from mental health concerns and/or substance abuse problems.
The following programming options are included as part of the comprehensive levels of care that we offer here at Harbor Oaks Hospital:
- Inpatient psychiatric treatment is offered for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults who are struggling with the challenges that accompany the presence of mental illness. Each patient is provided with an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to meet his or her unique needs and skills set. Programming is set up in a format that is centered on group therapy and is age-specific in order to address concerns that are pertinent to each age group.
- Chemical dependency inpatient treatment is offered for adults who are struggling with substance abuse concerns, as well as those who are struggling with co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency issues. 24-hour medically monitored detoxification services are also offered as part of this programming option.
- Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are offered adults. The adult program offers treatment for individuals aged 18 and older. This program meets Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:30pm and is designed to help people who need intensive therapeutic interventions, yet do not require the 24-hour supervision and treatment that is offered in an inpatient program.
